TVXQ's Micky Yoo Chun will celebrate his 22nd birthday on June 4th. What gift did he get for himself? Everyone is talking about a brand new apartment he purchased in Paragon Place, Seoul which he will move in with his mother. I bet it's in a very expensive neighborhood. Did he really buy a place? Jay Chou really knows how to make girls happy, he's even better at giving surprises to his mother, he once said that his mother is his eternal lover, because he has to film a commercial in Mainland China this year for Mother's Day he secretly left a card for his mother, written on it was "My beautiful mother: you don't have to worry about me anymore...I'm really happy being your son." It was short but meaningful and moved mother Chou very much.

Jay Chou didn't buy a very expensive present for Mother's Day, instead he personally chose a card and wrote down sweet words to his mother. In the past he used his mother's name Ye Hui Mei for the name of his album, he also wrote a song called "Listen To Mother's Words", he also gave his mother surprises on Mother's Day, at the time he said he couldn't make it back in time, then he suddenly called her and told her to look out the window, in fact he had organized a romantic fireworks show for his mother.

Lee Hyori Was Rejected by SM

On May 4th’s Off the Record, sizzlin’ hot Lee Hyori admitted to her first big rejection. Besides failing to become a respectable singer, the 28 year old entertainer failed her auditions for the famous record label, SM Entertainment. Although she was later picked up by DSP Entertainment for the group FIN.K.L., it was a disappointment to miss out sharing the fame with mega stars like H.O.T., S.E.S., Kwon BoA, DBSK, and many others.

The superstar who was in high demand, was also happily welcomed by Mnet Media, to whom she eventually signed with, but she never forgot about the rejection by SM Entertainment. C.E.O. Lee Soo Man himself, told Hyori, “There’s no way you would have passed the auditions anyway.”

TVXQ Expressed Gratitude to BoA

TVXQ expressed its gratitude to BoA during its “3rd LIVE TOUR 2008 ~T~” concert at the Saitama Arena last May 5.

Xiah expressed, “BoA was a pioneer in Japan. We want to thank her because we couldn’t have had our career in Japan if it weren’t for her. We don’t think we’re the best. There are still so many things we would like to try in the future.”

Max, the youngest in the group, also gave a piece of his mind to the thousands of fans in front of him and said, “It’s a mistake for us to be called as the pioneer (on Japan debut). Our seniors like H.O.T and BoA are the pioneers and we are just doing our best to respect the foundation they have laid.”

He continued, “As seniors, we would like to be a role model. It’d be great if other junior singers could build more achievements on the foundation.”

“In Korea, we also had good luck and we were able to meet a good staff and to receive lots of support. When we came to Japan, we had a frame of mind that we’re ‘rookie singers’. Even though we’re securely and continuously working our way up, we would like to think that we’re still ‘rookie singers’,” said U-Know.

Yunho's Top 10 Unforgettable Moments

1. 2004 DBSK got into a car accident. A sedan hit DBSK’s van, the driver was pronounced dead on the spot, the van was completely crushed, each member was hurt in different ways. Yunho’s neck was very injured.

2. 2005, Nov 18 to 19th, he was running schedules non stop. The minute the camera shuts down, he fainted.

5. For the sake of having a better pitch when he sings and a better, more mature image, he got procelin veneers on his teeth, PV needs to be changed every 10 years, he has gone through numerous discomfort and pain after his procedure. May of 2006, because he was in such pain (his teeth), he was rushed to the hospital right after his performance one night. 6. 2006, July. Concert in Malaysia, knowning his fans have waited forever for him, he gave a perfect performance that fooled everyone, no one could tell that he was trying all his might to hold the pain that was caused by dislocation of his ankles. He insisted on performing for his fans, he had to be carried out after the performance. That performance caused him to be away for one month so he can rest.

7. 2006, October, around 10pm. Something horrible happened, emergency room, different hospitals, cleaning and pumping out his stomach. The suspect has turned herself in. Yunho said “ she’s about my age, I have a sister, so I hope she will receive forgiveness. As for me. No worries. I’m fine. I’m sorry I’ve made you guys worry”

8. At an award ceremony, all the members were crying their eyes out, Yunho stayed strong, he held his tear in, he smiled, he kept thanking everyone, but backstage, he shed more tears than the rest of the members combined.

9. At another award ceremony, everyone could tell his eyes were watery and red, but once again, held in it. He bit his fingers.

10. The famous 18 continuous bow. After the MBC dance battle special, he was sick, but he held himself together for the show, backstage, he bowled to every single performer and crew members, the fans captured the total number of times he bowed. 18 times.
